Excitement Builds at Issa Junior Tennis Championship in Lagos

The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that the competition is being held at the National Stadium, Lagos. The tournament, which began on Monday, has witnessed outstanding performances from young players representing different parts of Nigeria. The championship covers three age groups, U-12, U-14 and U-16, with both boys and girls competing for honours. NAN reports that Precious Ohima defeated Destiny Dahzosou 4-1, 4-0 in the U-16 girls’ quarter-final, while Bisola Ogunkolade beat Mariam Ogunbanwo 4-0, 4-0. Oyinkansola Adejumobi outclassed Sarah Achibong 4-1, 4-0 to reach the U-14 girls’ semi-final, while Tiffany Oshi overcame Whitney Orimoloye 4-1, 5-3 to also progress.
